Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CareerCRM ("the Service"). CareerCRM is operated by Vyom B. under the CareerCRM brand ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using CareerCRM, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using CareerCRM, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. CareerCRM is intended for individual job seekers. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use CareerCRM only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. The service

CareerCRM is a personal job-search workspace for individual job seekers. It helps users assemble application packets for target opportunities, including resume readiness, target-company context, role-relevant professional context, individualized message drafts for review, and follow-up tracking.

CareerCRM never sends messages on your behalf without your explicit approval for each recipient and message. All decisions about whether to contact someone, what to say, and when to send remain solely with you.

3. What CareerCRM is not

CareerCRM is not a sales prospecting tool, recruiter database, lead-generation platform, marketing list provider, campaign sender, email automation system, or shared team prospecting workspace.

CareerCRM does not provide bulk contact exports, email-list downloads, campaign builders, automated sequences, automatic sending, or tools intended to create or distribute marketing, sales, recruiting, staffing, or lead-generation lists.

Any professional context shown in CareerCRM is intended only to help an individual job seeker evaluate a specific application packet before deciding whether to write a respectful, individualized message.

4. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately through the contact page if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per individual job seeker. You may not share your account credentials, use one account for a team, or allow others to access the Service through your account.

5. Acceptable use

CareerCRM may be used only for your own individual job search. You agree not to use CareerCRM to:

  • Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, generic mass outreach, or harassing communications
  • Build, sell, rent, license, share, or enrich marketing lists, sales lists, recruiting lists, lead lists, or contact databases
  • Use contact information for commercial prospecting, advertising, demand generation, sales development, recruiting, staffing, agency work, or any marketing purpose
  • Export, copy, scrape, or compile bulk professional contact information or email lists, including CSV email-list downloads or similar workarounds
  • Create campaigns, drip sequences, mail merges, automated follow-ups, or other scaled outreach workflows
  • Send a message without reviewing and explicitly approving the specific recipient and message content
  • Bypass job-seeker-appropriate usage limits, sending limits, review gates, or other anti-abuse controls
  • Use the Service as a recruiter, staffing firm, employment agency, sales team, marketing team, or shared prospecting workspace
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity
  • Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service through automated means
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations, including those related to electronic communication and privacy
  • Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal, harmful, or that we reasonably object to

Gmail sending is capped per plan so that outreach stays individual: Starter 20, Pro 25, and Advanced 30 messages per day. The cap counts messages CareerCRM sends through your connected Gmail account and resets at midnight UTC. It is a ceiling, not a target; the Free plan does not include Gmail sending.

You are responsible for ensuring that every message you send is lawful, respectful, accurate, individualized, and relevant to your job search. Nothing in CareerCRM authorizes mass email, spray-and-pray outreach, commercial prospecting, or outreach that violates a recipient's rights or preferences.

6. Payment and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as specified in our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you disagree with a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

7. Intellectual property

CareerCRM and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the CareerCRM operator and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to CareerCRM, including your resume, saved companies, application packets, and messages. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimers

CareerCRM is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that company matches or professional context will be accurate or complete, or that messages will achieve any particular result.

Job search outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. CareerCRM is a tool to support your job search, not a guarantee of employment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerCRM's operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Recipients, users, service providers, and members of the public may report suspected misuse through the contact page. We may investigate reports, apply usage limits, pause sending, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access where we believe these Terms have been violated. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that cannot be waived. If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
